Al-Emtithal Company for General Contracting
Al-Emtithal Company for General Contracting (currently) began its work in 1947, represented by its founder, the late contractor Habib Helou Saleh Al-Moussawi, practicing specialized work in the implementation of sewage and water networks, sewage pumping stations, and low water withdrawal stations, as it gained its experience through the work of its founder with specialized foreign companies that It was prevalent at that time during the royal era, the most important of which were the John Heist and John Tyler companies, as most of the sewage network works were completed in the heart of the city of Baghdad/Al-Rusafa, such as Al-Rashid Street, Al-Saadoun Street, Palestine Street, and others.

In the mid-fifties, the company was established under its first name (Habib Helou Saleh & Partners Company for General Contracting Limited), which enabled it to enter into broader and more comprehensive tenders, represented by sewage projects in the areas of Baghdad/Al-Karkh Governorate in the early eighties and for the Baghdad Sewage Department, as well as sewage projects in the governorates. And many cities extending from northern, central to southern Iraq, as in the Basra Governorate, Maysan Governorate, and Dhi Qar Governorate sewage projects, as well as water and sewage projects in the Middle Euphrates Governorates, such as the Holy Karbala Governorate, the Holy Najaf Governorate, and Diwaniyah, as well as Diyala and Salah al-Din Governorates, represented by the Samarra, Tikrit, and Dujail sewage projects.
